Project Description:

This 32,000 square foot Class A office space located on the corner of Hayden Place and Higuera Street in the Los Angeles County area. With the Washington/National and Jefferson/La Cienega rail stops less than a minute from this site, development plans are in progress to meet the demand and transform this building into a dynamic, completely renovated office space.

VCA’s Role:

VCA provided Civil Engineering Services for the On-site Improvements which included: grading elevations of the new site improvements relative to the site drainage considering sustainable design, ADA compliance and their joining to or interface with existing conditions. Construction documents to include civil drawings depicting: Site Demolition Plan, Site Horizontal and Vertical Control, Site Paving, Grading and Drainage with local Storm Water Management Design (LID and SUSMP), Hydrology and Hydraulics study, Cut and Fill, Overexcavation Plans, Utility Plans, Utility Profiles, Site Sections and Section Details, including details of critical conditions and connections. VCA also design the storm drain lines and other wet utilities such as fire water, potable water, and sanitary sewer. In addition, VCA provided Topographical Surveying Services for the site.
