Description

The County of Los Angeles entered into a ground lease agreement with the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District to develop this 21,000 square foot facility located at a former school site of the district, The Hacienda Heights Community and Recreation Center. The facility will house a multi-purpose room with a stage that will accommodate performance style seating for up to 539 people. This large multi-purpose room can also accommodate banquet style seating for up to 400 people. In addition, it will also include a small multi-use room, an arts and crafts room, computer room, and catering kitchen. The site will also include recreational park amenities such as walking trails, fitness stations, BBQ areas, picnic tables, and lawn areas for outdoor gatherings and activities. The construction cost is estimated at approximately $21 Million.
